Le 30 janvier 2024, une étape importante a été franchie dans l’univers entrepreneurial sénégalais : le Fonds Souverain d’Investissements Stratégiques (FONSIS) a lancé officiellement Oyass Capital, un fonds d’investissement novateur dédié aux PME sénégalaises.
Oyass Capital est né d’un partenariat stratégique entre le FONSIS, la Coopération Allemande via la KFW, la Banque Mondiale, et le Compact with Africa. Sa mission est claire : faciliter l’accès au capital pour les petites et moyennes entreprises, stimuler la croissance économique et accélérer la création d’emplois durables au Sénégal.
Pour concrétiser cette ambition, Oyass Capital a été initialement doté de 35 milliards FCFA, levés grâce au soutien du FONSIS, de l’État du Sénégal, de la KFW et de la Banque Mondiale. Le fonds vise à atteindre une enveloppe totale de 50 milliards FCFA, les 15 milliards restants étant mobilisés auprès du secteur privé et d’investisseurs à impact.
La gestion du fonds a été confiée à SEAF, un acteur international de référence en Private Equity, reconnu pour ses 400 investissements réalisés à travers 38 fonds et ses 14 centres CEED implantés dans 33 pays.
Avec un lancement effectif prévu dès janvier 2024, Oyass Capital se positionne comme un véritable catalyseur pour les entrepreneurs, en leur offrant du financement structurant et un accompagnement stratégique de haut niveau.
Oyass Capital marque le début d’une nouvelle ère pour les PME sénégalaises. À travers cette initiative, le FONSIS et ses partenaires offrent une réponse concrète aux défis de financement, tout en renforçant l’écosystème entrepreneurial du pays. Un signal fort pour ceux qui croient au potentiel transformateur de l’investissement à impact.
